The work between what was and what's next.

We work with GovCon small business leadership teams at critical inflection points — aligning strategy, structure, and execution.

When the playbook that built you stops working.

The moment usually arrives quietly, then all at once.

……….The size standard cliff is twelve months out. The acquirer just signed the LOI and now there's an integration to run. The recompete that used to be a formality is suddenly a fight……..

Everyone knows the old operating model is over. Nobody knows what the next one looks like.

You can't go back. You can't stay where you are.

And you don't yet know how to move forward.

That is the work.

WHERE WE WORK

Five inflection points. One practice.

Scaling with Intention

Whether you plan to sell, raise capital, or build something that generates lasting value for all stakeholders, the work to look like that company starts now, not at LOI. The planning is the same. The outcome is up to you.

Founder transition

Stepping back, stepping out, or stepping aside for a hired CEO. The company runs on the founder's relationships and judgment. It needs to learn to run on systems and a team.

The size-standard cliff

Twelve to twenty-four months from outgrowing 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, or SDVOSB. The full-and-open pipeline isn't built yet. The set-aside pipeline is about to disappear.

The overnight success

A single contract win has doubled or tripled the company. The systems, processes, and people built for the smaller version are breaking, and the operating model has to be rebuilt while delivery is still running.

Acquire and integrate

LOI signed or close. Integration plan is a slide. Cultures, contract vehicles, accounting systems, and clearance postures don't match. The first hundred days will decide whether the deal works.

THE PREMISE

Companies don't graduate from inflection points by thinking harder.

They graduate by building the operating model — the people, the systems, the cadences, the leader — that the next stage requires.

Most consulting firms hand off after the deck. Most fractional executives fill a calendar. We sit inside the threshold with the CEO and desired teams, do the tactical work, and align the leaders who have to execute it.

Every engagement is designed to graduate the company more capable than it was. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.

Sitting at a threshold you can't think your way through?

A first conversation is mostly answering questions — yours and ours. No deck, no pitch.
